No Oregon money for corporate raiders!

Oregon Investment Council:  If KKR takes our jobs, then take back our money!

Sign the petition:

Oregon invests billions of taxpayer dollars every year with the investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR). The firm currently holds $3 bilion dollars in state assets. In spite of this relationship, the firm has threatened to shutter the North Portland Sealy Mattress factory and move out of state to a non-union facility. The move would cost Oregon's economy a vital 128 family-wage manufacturing jobs.

The Oregon Investment Council (OIC) is the body that decides where to invest the state's money.

We the undersigned call upon the OIC to not stand by as KKR uses Oregon tax dollars to kill Oregon jobs. If KKR closes the North Portland Sealy Mattress manufacturing facility, we call upon the OIC to divest Oregon public funds from the firm. We will deliver this petition to the OIC at their next meeting on January 23rd.
